Ka is Watching

 

It is easy to imagine the pharaoh regally sitting on his throne while sailing on a felucca. In ancient Egypt the belief was that the protective spirit ka watched over the almighty ruler and all the boat's passengers. The "Regal Pharaonic Dahbia of Cheops" is the oldest Egyptain felucca image immortalized by the Great Pyramid of Giza. The pharaoh's Solar Boat sailed on sunbeams throughout the skies and carried Cheops in the regal, single cabin.
